STUDENT STAND-BY INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES

  Helijet Student Standby fare of $85 one way (plus HST) 
• 
  
•  - To request this fare, passengers are required to check-in at a Helijet Terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure of their desired flight.
   - A valid current Student ID card with photo plus at least one piece of Government Issued photo ID will be required before listing for the desired flights.  
•  - American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Cash and Debit are accepted forms of payment.
  
•  - With limited exceptions, the order of the standby queue will be based on a first come first served basis.
•  - Standby travel is allowed if, at flight boarding time a seat is available.
•   - When requesting to travel on a standby basis it is understood that NO reservations may be made for travel at this fare. Helijet Reservations will not be able to assist in listing of flights, this is a walk-in fare only. Due to the very changeable nature of Helijet's frequent schedule Helijet Reservations agents will not be able to give any accurate information as to chances of stand-by.
•   - To confirm travel, passengers may purchase an upgrade to any other revenue confirmed fare. However, standby passengers may not have previously held a confirmed seat for the same flight on which they are now requesting standby travel.
•   - Please note that there may be the rare occasion that your seat is needed due to the late arrival of a confirmed passenger, resulting in your boarding pass being rescinded. If this is occurs you will maintain your original position in the standby queue.
•   - All standby seats are sold on a one way basis, return travel is not guaranteed. Helijet accepts no responsibility if alternate return modes of transportation or overnight stays are required. It is suggested to have an alternate plan for travel as flights may sell out with short notice.
•   - All Passengers MUST have valid government issued photo identification available for presentation at check in. (ie Passport/Driver's License). Helijet cannot assume any responsibility for passengers carrying incorrect documentation.
•   - Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
•   - Helijet reserves the right to deny boarding of any passenger
