Our Helijet family lives, works and plays in the communities we service so we aim to support and give back to local arts and charitable organizations that enrich all our lives. These organizations are the core of our community commitment and we are privileged to participate in their fundraising endeavours.

We are pleased to partner with the following Arts Organizations:

The Belfry Theatre

The Belfry is Victoria’s largest contemporary theatre, producing up to 12 plays per year from its beautifully restored church.

The Arts Club Theatre Company

Since 1964, The Arts Club Theatre Company has produced a wide range of productions from musicals to classics and new Canadian works. With two stages, Granville Island Stage and the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, there is something for everyone.

Dance Victoria

Dedicated to excellence in the development and production of dance works,  Dance Victoria’s mission is to enhance the appreciation of dance in the Capital Region (Victoria) by presenting and developing excellent professional dance and engaging the community.

Vancouver International Writers Festival

Since 1988 Vancouver International Writers Fest has been dedicated to advancing youth literacy through the introduction to the wonder of books while presenting audiences with some of the world’s best loved writers as well as new up and coming writers.

Canadian Cancer Society – BC & Yukon

Cancer has touched many people and the Helijet family is not excluded, partnering with CCS gives us the opportunity to preserve the legacy of those we’ve lost and help the CCS with their mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the lives of those living with cancer.

SOS Children’s Village BC

As our own Helijet families grow we become more aware of the needs of children in our community and their welfare.

SOS Children’s Villages BC, the only SOS Village in Canada, is a unique caring community of foster parents, from its 5 house, 2.5 acre site, who provide a foster children with a home and support, enhancing their stability.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice

Canuck Place offers continuing care to over 350 children and teens with life-threatening illnesses and their families throughout BC, in the home like environment of Canuck Place

Steve Nash Foundation

Dedicated to assisting underserved children with their health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life the Steve Nash Foundation also seeks to afford thoughtful solutions to community needs through events like Showdown in Downtown supporting the Foundation’s BC Grants program  

Power to Be Adventure Therapy

Power To Be provides outdoor recreation programs that enrich the lives of disadvantaged children, young adults, their families and the communities to which they belong.

We encourage you to learn more about these fine organizations, then to go out, take part and build your own community spirit.  

Live Auction Requests:

Although the above are our main beneficiaries we will evaluate other fundraising events, featuring a Live Auction, on a case by case basis.

We ask that you please follow these guidelines when submitting your proposal:

    * Minimum 4 weeks prior to the event, email your request, on letterhead, attached in Word or PDF formats. Please write “Community Support Request” in subject line.

    * Detail the Live Auction/Event purpose, estimated attendance, location, time and date plus full contact information.

    * List the charities or organizations sponsoring this event.

    * Explain what exposure, recognition and /or exclusivity Helijet will receive by supporting this event

In addition to events duplicating the above organizations and charities the following will not be considered:  

    - Events requiring a cash contribution

    - Silent Auction / Door Prize requests.  

    - Organizations that are not registered charities or non-profit societies

    - Religious/Political Organizations

    - Organizations that discriminate against race, gender, religion or lifestyle

Please allow 2-3 weeks for response to your submission. Phone calls are not accepted. Incomplete requests will not be considered.

Due to the overwhelming amount of requests only those receiving affirmative responses will be contacted.
