BC Air Ambulance

Helijet - BC Air Ambulance Services

In November of 1998 Helijet was awarded the contract to provide helicopter transport for the British Columbia Air Ambulance Service using the Sikorsky S-76.

Since then our commitment to Air Medical Transport has continued to grow and evolve to include two Sikorsky S76 helicopters and two Bombardier LearJet 31A airplanes. In 2011, Helijet opened a base in Prince Rupert, adding another Sikorsky S76 air ambulance to the north coast of British Columbia.

From our base at Vancouver International Airport and Prince Rupert-Seal Cove, a dedicated team of pilots and engineers are on call 24/7 to aid in the needs of the adult and infant ambulance services.
